I work at Dick’s Sporting Goods as a Customer Service Specialist and by the time I get home at night I’m pretty tired. So I’ve been trying to experiment with slow cooker recipes; that way I don’t have to worry about making supper when I get home. That’s the reason I came up with this recipe! Seriously this is one of the easiest recipes that I’ve ever made and it tastes so good. The best part is it only takes three ingredients! Yeah, you heard me right! My husband loves it. So here’s the recipe:
All you need is pork chops, crushed pineapple, and barbecue sauce. Make sure you defrost your pork chops, it will save you time in the long run.
Place your pork chops into your slow cooker and cover with barbecue sauce.
Add a can of crushed pineapples! Stir the pineapples and barbecue together to form a sauce. Oh, and remember don’t drain the juice off of your pineapples. The juice adds to the flavor.
Now put set your slow cooker on high for two hours.
Tada! Supper is ready! Serve on top of rice. And remember not to skimp on the sauce; it’s delicious.This sauce is seriously addicting. You could also serve this with a stir fry or fried rice. Let me know how you like to eat it!
Barbecue Pineapple Pork Chops
1 Can (20oz) Crushed Pineapple
1 Bottle Barbecue Sauce of your choice (I used Price Chopper’s Honey Barbecue)
4 Pork Chops (I used three, but there is enough sauce to easily cover four pork chops)
Defrost Pork chops. Mix ingredients in slow cooker, and cook on high for 2 hours.
