Okay, I know french fries don’t exactly go with healthy, but this recipe is healthy. And it’s easy (at least once you’ve cut up the potatoes). All the recipe calls for is cooking spray (low calorie) and potatoes. I actually used sweet potatoes last time I made these, but it works just as well with regular potatoes. The only difference is that sweet potatoes are a lot harder to cut up before they’re cooked. Also, sweet potatoes are harder to peel.
Cover a cookie sheet in cooking spray. Cut up your potatoes into long strips that resemble french fries, and place on cookie sheet. Spray again with cooking spray once you have the french fries on.
Place in the oven at 425 degrees for 5-7 minutes! And you have fries! Serve with ketchup or your favorite dipping agent. This makes a low calorie substitute to fried french fries. And like I said this works well with potatoes, too.
